From Someone Who Cares
if you ever
sweep someone off her feet
make sure that
she don't fall and you hold her tight
in the safe arms of yours
'cause otherwise
it's gonna be painful for you
for the both of you
and someone who cares
will feel the pain as well
that someone will have to be cruel
in order to be kind
cracks in the fortress
you and that someone built
will appear
haunted by the hurtful words and images
they turn into fissures
and beyond repair they have become
BUT
he doesn't want this to happen
and he says
let's mend it or fix it
we can even build a stronger fortress
why can't you understand
that i'm doing this to strenghten our fortress??
